Description
Angelo came to us about a year ago from Indianapolis Animal Control. He's very good with people. I can pick him up and carry him around and put him in his coop at night without any fuss. He does not get along with other roosters but that may be due to the cramped quarters. Our chickens are kept in a 16X16 kennel with a chicken wire roof to keep them contained and safe from the coyote and fox that live nearby and visit every night. Our vet has taken other roosters and allows them to free range and fights between the cocks is very rare. When allowed to run the yard, his tail feathers grow much longer and flow behind him. He's a handsome fella. IndyCLAW Rescue is founded on the premise of "Creating Life-long Animal Welfare". We do have an adoption contract and do home visits to ensure that this pet will be achieving a life-long home. We do not ship our pets nor do we adopt to breeders or resellers.
