Chicken - Large - Adult - Male - Bird - Bingo

Bingo is a male chicken for adoption. He and companions were purchased as Easter chicks from Tractor Supply in 2008. When he came to us in July, he was still fairly small and we have watched him grow into a handsome young man. He can fly for short distances and throws a fuss when you pick him up, but has never pecked or bit a handler. His favorite trick to avoid being picked up is to fly right into your head so you are too busy ducking to grab him. It has become a nightly game when its time to put him and his companions up for the night. The picture doesn't do him justice. He is a big bird with beautiful plummage, like his irredescent green tail feathers which should continue to grow into a flowing fountain. IndyCLAW Rescue is founded on the premise of "Creating Life-long Animal Welfare". We do have an adoption contract and do home visits to ensure that this pet will be achieving a life-long home. We do not ship our pets nor do we adopt to breeders or resellers.
