Great Pyrenees - Large - Adult - Female - Dog - Bella
Description
Let's hope for Bella third time is the charm for a forever home! Bella came into our rescue as a young pyr and was to be adopted by a family in the northeast. They flew her to NY in November of 2007, where they picked her up at the airport. After a week they decided the breed was too large for them. Fortunately for her, a couple was looking for a girl like her to adopt who lived nearby, so they adopted Bella. Last year they divorced and sold their home, and Bella was living with the woman in an apartment, which was not a good fit for her since they both felt she needed a yard to enjoy. She had a torn ACL repaired in December, and upon arriving into rescue it was determined she needed the same repair on the other leg. $2200 later, Bella is on the road to recovery. If you would like to donate towards her vet care we would be very appreciative, the donation link is below. Bella does not need to be crated, and is housebroken. She enjoys going for walks too.She would be fine as an only pet in a home, and is good with young children. She likes male dogs too, as romp buddies, and she is a real beauty! Bella will be placed as an inside pet with outside privileges to a secure visibly fenced yard. Pyrs do not do well with wireless fencing. We recommend obedience training for all newly adopted pyrs, to help you create a special bond with you and your new friend.
