Great Pyrenees - Large - Adult - Female - Dog - Maya
Description
This beautiful girl is about 2 years old. She was a previous livestock guardian , but has easily assimilated into a house dog. Poor Maya came to us heartworm positive and has been treated and is doing fine now. Heartworm is easily prevented by using preventatives, and is transmitted through mosquitos. Her owner moved out of the country to avoid paying child support and left Maya behind. Maya is housebroken and crate trained, and is friendly with everyone two and four legged. She is very gentle and sweet and has a great temperament. Maya will be placed as an inside pet with outside privileges to an above ground securely fenced yard. Pyrs do not do well with wireless fencing.We recommend obedience training for all newly adopted pyrs, to help you create a special bond with you and your new friend.
