Great Pyrenees - Large - Adult - Male - Dog - Koda

Koda is a six year old pyr/chow who was taken to animal control to be euthanized because he started snapping at his family. After checking him out, we discovered he had some arthritis and with a daily antiinflammatory, he is back to his happy self now that he is pain free. He weighs 80 lbs and has a beautiful soft coat. He has freckles on his nose, and pretty Golden spots on his side . Koda is a great boy, who is a wonderful companion who gets along fine with other dogs and cats too. He would probably do best with older children, since they would be more understanding it hurts to get pulled and pushed on. Koda loves to go for car rides, and is a well mannered boy who does not need to be crated when you are not home. Koda loves to talk too, and has a cute little whine and whistle he makes to let you know he needs something. Koda will be placed as inside pet with outside privileges to an above ground securely fenced yard. Pyrs do not do well with wireless fencing.We recommend obedience training for all newly adopted pyrs, to help you create a special bond with you and your new friend.
