Maxx is an active Great Pyrenees about 14-16 months old who was found as a stray in Louisville, KY. He is very friendly, eager to please and gets along well with other dogs, and is fine with cats. He is great with small dogs too. Maxx was at a pet parade with his foster dad and made a new friend. Maxx has a great personality ,and he has the most gorgeous face too, with the cutest expressions! He is very attentive and enjoys being with people, and romping with his canine buddies. Maxx is food aggressive, so he will be placed in an adult only home with an adopter who knows how to handle a food aggressive dog. He is still very friendly and loving- just a little crazy about food since he must have done without at some point. Maxx will be placed as inside pet with outside privileges to a secure above ground fenced yard. Pyrs do not do well with wireless fencing.We recommend obedience training for all newly adopted pyrs, to help you create a special bond with you and your new friend and so you will have a well behaved canine.
