Great Pyrenees - Medium - Adult - Female - Dog - Lizzy
Lizzy was found as a stray in southern IN and came into the shelter matted, dirty, and a total neglected mess. She was diagnosed with heartworm and entriopian. She has had her eyes fixed, and been treated for heartworm. Thanks to her foster mom she got a well needed bath and does not even look like the same girl now! She is friendly and playful, is fine with cats, and would do best in a home with a male dog rather than a female. She would also do well as a solo dog too. Lizzy is all ready for her forever home, she loves romping with other dogs,is housebroken and does not need to be crated when you are gone. Lizzy is a smaller pyr weighing about 60 lbs. and is about 2-3 years old. She will be placed as an inside pet with outside privileges to a secure 6' visible fenced yard or is eligible for a walk only home with children over 12. Pyrs do not do well with wireless fencing. We recommend obedience training for all newly adopted pyrs, to help you create a special bond with you and your new friend.
