Description
Nala is a 5 year old female red and white Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. Nala is a very sweet and gentle girl in need of a special person willing to give her lots of TLC! Nala has hip dysplasia that should have been treated when she was a puppy, but it wasn't and she is now dealing with the consequences. She can still get around and she enjoys going for walks, but she will likely need medication to help her deal with the pain. Nala is good with people of all ages, but she would prefer a home with older children who won't accidentally harm her hips. Nala is such a darling girl anyone who meets her will certainly fall for her. Nala qualifies for our P.A.W.S. Program - Partnering Animals With Seniors. If you are age 55 or older, please contact the shelter to find out how you can adopt Nala for a reduced fee.
