11/17/08 - River is still here, waiting for his forever home. This is a guy who would LOVE to be an 'only' dog. He doesn't enjoy being in the midst of a bundle of furry kids - her prefers to hang by himself. And he definitely would NOT be one to jump up on your visitors at the door! Need a jogging companion? River would be great! Come on out for a visit!9/4/07: Here is another one that just amazes me that he is still here. This guy is beautiful in every way! He is gentle, loving, obedient and looking for a family to love him and give him his forever home. River got his name because this guy loves loves loves the water. He is in his swimming pool all day long, dragging his toys in there with him as if they need to cool off too. River has long smooth fur mostly black with white/black speckling. He is really a pretty boy. Approximately one year old with beautiful eyes that have a keenly soulful depth to them. River does well with all of his kennel mates, doesn't pay attention to any of the cats and a little timid at first with people but, once he knows you're trustworthy he loves you up. 080406We do not adopt to 'outside only' homes nor homes without fenced yards.
