Flawless and better than new! This Sony VPL-VW60 has less than 90 hours on it and is in 100% pristine condition, both cosmetically and functionally! This was installed in my theater (non-smoking, no pets) and is shown projecting unto a 133" screen above! This Sony was purchased brand new on 5/17/08 from an authorized dealer so USA warranty is valid. In addition an extended warranty was also purchased! This covers the projector for an additional 4 years AFTER the manufactures warranty! Yes, this is correct! It is in ADDITION to the 2 year Sony warranty, so this projector is covered until 5/17/2014!!!! Extended warranty is transferable to the new owner and I will cover the fees to do so. Of course I will include copies of all receipts to the new owner as well as the transfer of the extended warranty! I also wish to stress that this is a perfect "A STOCK" unit! It is NOT a "reconditioned", "refurbished" or any other such nonsense.
In addition to the extended warranty on the projector I also purchased a bulb warranty that is good from 5/17/08 until 5/17/2011. If anything happens to the bulb you can request a new one from the extended warranty company! Normally this takes a week or so to get a new bulb which means you would be without a projector for a couple of weeks, but NOT in this case! NO NO NO NO, because I am including with this sale, one additional BRAND NEW Sony Bulb/housing for this projector! That's right, these sell for well over $300, but I am including one with this sale! This means zero down time for you! Pop in the new bulb and then when you get your replacement, you have yet another back-up!
These bulbs typically last THOUSANDS of hours. When you couple that with the extended warranty the new owner will have YEARS of entertainment from this unit.
