This is an 8 x 10 Hand Knotted Mahal area rug Imported from India. It is made of Wool/Cotton. It has really never been used. My mom purchased it and never got around to remodeling her room/colors and then adopted a dog. So she was afraid it would get ruined and never put it down. It is currently in a room that no-one uses. I have worked in Interior Design/Furniture and know that rugs of this size and quality sell for over $1500-$2000++. Most of the rugs that cost less than that are synthetic polypropolyene and have either a jute backing or a rubber backing. Those usually sell for $800-1000 for this size. The colors are Tan, Light Green, Red/Maroon and Black. Price is a steal for only $500.
